xcritical appears to be fraudulent
Well, unbeknownst to me, xcritical had filled out a W-9 on my behalf using my personal information. Not the TIN and information of the trust. Unfortunately the zipcode they used was for a town on the other side of the state, and the incorrect 1099-Ks were not reaching me. Fast forward to 5 months ago, and I get a $25,000 tax bill, stating that I didn’t pay taxes for the income of the past 6 years. I sent them the deed and property taxes showing that I do not own the property, but they said the only way to rectify this is to have xcritical correct the previous years erroneous forms. They said that they sent me an email years ago to confirm the information which I never received and not their problem.
